13-Year-Old Chelsea Writes Her Debut Children’s Novel

We are excited to share the good news about our teen Diva who has just written her first book – The Jensons.

 The five-chapter, eighty-eight-page fantasy fiction centres on family, The Jensons’ family is a typical privileged nuclear family consisting of six daring, but funny children—Rainbow, Sparkle, Sally, Sammy, Mike and Jade—and their working parents who do their best to create time for them.

Chelsea Anyanwu, 13 years old is a year 9 student at St Ursula’s Convent School.

Aside from writing, Chelsea also loves drawing which she does at any given spare time from schoolwork.

It’s a delight to know that Chelsea’s family do encourage and support her with her passion and interest in creative arts. In a recent interview with Nigerian Tribune Newspaper, she said: “Everyone around me tells me how good my drawings are. When I was in primary school, my teachers always put my work up for display and everyone always encourages me to draw.” 

She also loves watching anime. “I love anime mainly because of the art of it and how it is exaggerated.”
