  • At Divas of Colour, our stage is reserved for members of our community who are invested in our mission year-round. We prioritise speakers who are active participants in our ecosystem.
  • To maintain the personal connection and professional integrity of our platform, we only accept applications submitted directly by the prospective speaker. Applications or enquiries submitted by speaker agencies or third-party representatives for the general speaker call will not be processed or considered.
  • Organisations wishing to put forward their clients for high-level keynote opportunities or bespoke sessions are invited to contact us directly to discuss a formal partnership. We welcome collaborative opportunities that align with our global standards of excellence.

Our stage is a reflection of our community. Membership is the primary pathway for those seeking to contribute to our platform. By becoming a member, you gain access to our ecosystem of professional growth, mentorship, and exclusive networking. Members who are active, engaged, and aligned with our mission are prioritised for consideration in our speaker selection process.

Be an active participant

We believe in the power of shared investment. Active participation, through consistent attendance at our year-round events, engaging in our advocacy forums, and contributing to our community discussions, demonstrates your commitment to the Divas of Colour mission. We actively seek speakers who have ‘skin in the game’ and who understand the high standards of our platform through ongoing engagement.

No. We accept registrations on a rolling basis throughout the year. However, for our flagship annual festival, we recommend submitting your interest at least six months in advance. Specific deadlines for each event are announced via our professional newsletter.

We have both in-person and virtual events. However, our flagship events require speakers to be present on-site to fully engage with our global community.

We provide significant brand exposure and VIP access as part of our speaker package. Generally, speakers or their organisations are responsible for their own travel and lodging. However, for keynote speakers invited directly by the board, bespoke arrangements may be made.

We do not permit sales pitches from the stage. The most successful speakers find that their expertise naturally creates demand for their work. Opportunities for book signings or exhibition stands can be discussed separately with our partnership team.

Sessions typically run for 20–30 minutes, while panel contributions vary between 45–60 minutes including Q&A. We provide a detailed technical brief once your session format is confirmed.

We are committed to discovering new voices. If you have a compelling, high-level insight and can demonstrate a commitment to professional communication standards, we welcome your application. We recommend providing a short video clip (even if recorded privately) to demonstrate your delivery style.

Due to the high volume of interest, our editorial board only contacts shortlisted candidates. If your profile aligns with a specific upcoming theme, you will typically hear from us within 15–20 working days of your submission.

We look for alignment and commitment. Engaging with our previous events and being an active part of our community are significant advantages. Specifically, Premium Members of Divas of Colour are granted Priority Review status, ensuring their application is moved to the top of the selection queue and reviewed directly by our Board of Directors.
