Jenny Holt Co-owner of Spectrum Telecoms, to Receive Women of Honour Recognition At Divas of Colour 2018.
From Vietnamese boat girl to co-owner of a national telecoms company, Jenny embodies the perfect Divas of Colour woman.
It’s hard to imagine over 40 years ago during a violent and chaotic moment in history would change Jenny’s life so dramatically.
It all began on the Fall of Saigon in Vietnam, 30th April 1975.
“I look back and I think what an incredible journey, to flee your home country at the age of 3 in terrifying conditions to build a new future in a new land”
In the face of adversity, Jenny and her family had to overcome many challenges in Vietnam and the early struggles of resettling in Great Britain.
A truly inspiring story, Jenny is co-owner of Spectrum Telecoms a 4 million pound turnover and 30 employee’s organisation, based in Burton-Upon-Trent
Jenny pioneered an area of technology known as Managed Mobile Solutions. She has won contracts with National and Global companies who now outsource their whole IT and Data management to Spectrum. These contracts were won in competition with the networks directly but also use those networks in a particularly efficient and cost effective way.
Setting out with a vision of helping customers save money and to deliver the very best in customer experience – Spectrum is now one of the UK’s leading independent communications specialist.
Jenny is also a proud wife and mother to May-lee, Hugo and step-son James.
She believes that “You too, can have a life you’ve always dreamed of and be fabulous in all that you do”
Ends.
