Theme: Power, Purpose and Progress.

Building on our last theme, Thrive and Lead, our 2026 conference is shifting focus from establishing potential to shaping the future and confronting emerging challenges. The 2026 edition of Women into Leadership will seek to redefine Power, Purpose, and Progress across all sectors.
While UK women are achieving board representation, they still face a significant pipeline problem at the CEO and Executive level, posing new complexities for women in leadership navigating the future of work.
This year’s conference will focus on encouraging women to see pursuing leadership as a moral imperative that benefits society than just about career progression.
The conference will have powerful sessions focused on 3 main pillars:
Purpose – You will learn how to define and mobilise your leadership purposefully. Aligning your personal journey and the internal work required to identify your unique WHY as a person (not as a woman), and how that contributes to broader movements for justice and equality. This pillar will cover:
- Personal Vision – You will learn practical ways to discover your WHY and align your values with your career trajectory.
- Authentic Power – You will learn how to lead with integrity and self-trust in high stakes environment.
- The Ripple Effect – You will understand how your leadership shapes the culture. From one decision to wide impact.
Influence: This pillar is about translating purpose into cross-sector influence. You will learn practical skills on how you can use your influence regardless of sector or position to advocate for meaningful change. This pillar will specifically focus on:
- Strategic Advocacy – Learn the art of the nudge. How to influence policy and practice without formal authority.
- Intersectional Impact – How to become a catalyst for equity beyond your own identity and agency.
- Leveraging Resources – You will understand the act of directing resources towards purposes that will serve you and yield expected outcomes.
Legacy Mindset – This pillar is designed to inspire women to boldly step into true leadership, which is about systemic change and not just about titles or academic qualifications. This pillar will cover practical ways to:
- Sustain momentum and build resilience.
- Utilise sponsorship and elevation to lift others while you climb.
- Define and attain true success by learning various ways to measure your impact and feel successful.
