Get To Know Dr Andrea
From a background as a systems and business analyst, Andrea developed a strong interest in the people side of change management, and having been awarded the prestigious Rhodes Scholarship (Jamaica, 1989) completed her Masters and Doctorate in Management Studies at Oxford University, focusing on overcoming the culture gap between IT professionals and their business counterparts.
Andrea then went on to work as a Change Management consultant with Accenture in London, Tokyo and Seoul and on her return from working overseas, co-founded a west-end based bespoke recruitment consultancy with her husband Jonathan, servicing the management consultancy industry. They ran this successfully for ten years and then with the arrival of their much-awaited first son, Andrea decided to develop a portfolio style career which would allow her to work flexibly around her growing family.
For the last 14+ years Andrea has worked independently as an international business owner, mentor, trainer and coach under the umbrella of Forever Living Products, a global health, nutrition and well-being company. Based on this proven business model, she coaches and trains people internationally to create an additional / replacement income stream and finance the goals / lifestyle they desire by helping them start and run a successful home-based business flexibly around their commitments. In the process, Andrea supports people through the discomfort and challenge of personal growth to help them achieve their true potential as individuals …and as leaders.
Andrea also works as an executive coach and leadership development consultant with The Centre for Inclusive Leadership, a city based Organisation Development consultancy which specialises in helping organisations create the environment where people can “be their best selves and do their best work”.
Driven by the desire to make a real difference in relationships, Andrea and her husband Jonathan have founded Soulmates Academy, an organisation focused on strengthening relationships and marriages in the wider community through educational webinars, live sessions and retreats, to help couples improve communication and build healthy, long-lasting, mutually satisfying relationships.
As her friends will attest, Andrea doesn’t do superficial. She is known for “good for the soul” one-on -one conversations over a cuppa where the discussion is always about inspiring each other to overcome the next hurdle, ensure diaries reflect our values and to discover and pursue our God-given purpose. It’s about being courageous, being authentic and running our individual races….with excellence.oo
