The Divas of Colour International Women’s Festival returned for its 10th anniversary on March 16, 2024, at Lumiere Creative, Underwood Street London. This year’s theme, “Walk Your Worth: Embracing Inclusion, Unleashing Potential,” underscored the festival’s enduring commitment to empowering and fostering a more inclusive and equitable world.
“We were thrilled to celebrate a decade of amplifying the voices and stories of phenomenal women,” said Faustina Anyanwu, Co-founder and CEO of the Divas of Colour International Women’s Forum. “Over the past ten years, we had connected thousands of women, provided a platform for vital discussions, and fueled individual and collective growth.”
The festival featured a dynamic programme, including:
- Inspiring keynote speakers and panelists: Renowned figures shared their journeys and insights, addressing critical issues and igniting conversations that shaped the future.
- Engaging workshops and discussions: Expert-led sessions on diverse topics relevant to women’s personal and professional development, fostering knowledge and practical skills.
- Networking opportunities: Attendees connected and built meaningful relationships with other attendees, creating a powerful support network.
- Awards ceremony: The ceremony recognised and celebrated 15 individuals dedicated to advancing the lives of women and fostering gender equality.
- Exciting trade exhibitions: An array of businesses showcased their unique businesses.
The festival was also joined by the Grow London Local, an integral part of the Mayor of London supported Grow London project offering invaluable resources to embolden small businesses in London. This exciting collaboration aligned perfectly with both organisations’ commitment to fostering empowerment and growth.
