On our Sugar edition (6th anniversary edition) of the festival slated for on 30th and 31st March, 2019, we bring you another spectacular fashion show production highlighting our year campaign, raising awareness on sexual violence and other forms of violence against women, tagged – #Stride4safety.

In the last 5 years, Divas of Colour festival has continued to strengthen its influence and audience base, attracting women and men of the highest calibre, celebrities, dignitaries, fashion and business influencers, various brands and media as well as a global audience who storm into London each spring to be part of this annual celebration. As the largest gathering of world’s most influential women of colour, showcasing on Divas of Colour has been called a privilege.
Theme For our 2019 Show: Stride For Safety (A walk against sexual violence.): Strong, Sexy, Sassy and Sophisticated.
Each designer’s collections are to make statement showcasing women in their strongest form. A show which is dedicated to the strong, sexy, sophisticated, sassy woman of today, paying tribute to women of the past who have paved the way for us to continue to stand today.
What Collections can showcase?
Both classic, contemporary and traditional collections are acceptable.
Women’s wear collections (Ready to wear, avant garde, couture, bridal, swimwear)
Accessories: (Jewellery, bags, shoes, others).
Men’s wear – All forms of men’s wear are also accepted.
Terms and Conditions:
Requirements.
Each designer must submit at least 5 images of their collection.
International Designers requiring letter for visa application must get in touch asap. (Hello@divasofcolour.com or African designers pls contact our African representative – nonso@fauntee.com )
Packages.
Minimum number of pieces to showcase is 5. To qualify to showcase, you must be able to have at least 5 pieces in your collection.
- 5 – 10 collections – £500.
- 11 – 15 pieces – £750
- 16 – 20 pieces – £1000.
Discount sale now on till November 2018 as follows.
20% discount on all full payments on or before 1st October 2018.
10% discount on all full payments on or before 1st December 2018.
Unfortunately, after 1st December, we will not be making any further discount offers.
Instalment payment is accepted however, discounts do not apply in this case. All payments must be received on or before 10th February 2019.
Our Responsibility/Benefits To Showcasing Designer.
- Divas of Colour provides professional models, showroom, makeup and takes control of every aspect of the production working closely with our designers to create the best experience showcasing on our show. If a designer wishes to bring any creative (model, hairstylist or MUA of their choice, the designer must notify Divas of Colour at least 2 weeks before the event day.)
- All designers receive 10 complimentary tickets to invite their guests and fans to attend the show. Designers also have the opportunity to make their own press/media/bloggers invite to cover their shows. These can be promoted individually on designer’s website or social media platforms.
- Designers must be available or make their collection available by 20th February for fittings.
- Designers must provide their requirements – such as sizes and models requirements, any special look in case of bridal collections and men’s wear by 10th January 2019.
- All shows will take place on day 1, Saturday, 30th March.
- Designers are automatically entered for the Designer of the year title and are invited to attend the award dinner on second day – Sunday 31st March. The winner is solely decided by the judges.
- Showcasing designers go free but must purchase tickets for their guests to attend the dinner if they have any.
- Divas of Colour show production is fully insured, therefore takes security and health and safety comes first in all we do. We urge all participants to adhere to our policies and directives at all time.
