I am so excited to win “International Woman of the Year 2019” Award at the Divas of Colour awards night on Sunday!!! It was such a lovely evening meeting so many woman that came from different countries.

I had the pleasure of attending Divas of Colour International Women’s Conference 2019 where the main agenda was to raise awareness of matters related to sexual abuse such as knowing what it is and signs that someone may be a victim of abuse.
It was heartwarming to see so many amazingly talented women entrepreneurs across various fashion-related industries come together in the masses to support this event. Special thanks to @seabassuk for the tickets and delightful goodie bags. I wish I had brought my shopping game to buy everything from their whole stand 😂
Although my visit was very brief, I was proud to be part of an event which aims to be impactful on the current issues global society faces today. .

Divas of color 2019 performance. My performance was nice, but the real issues of sexual abuse really gave me an in depth and painful view of what our ladies go through! Its important we teach our sons and daughters on these issues. Heard some real fuckree and it made me look at how society constantly trys to sexualise kids through imagery in the entertainment industry, which i believe plants seeds in the minds of our children. @divasofcolour @fauntee @emeka.anyanwu @gagecic #Divasofcolour2019

It was such a pleasure meeting these wonderful women over the weekend @divasofcolour International Women’s Festival. We are all on the same page, pushing to take our businesses to the next level. Working long hours, sleepness nights, showcasing and exhibiting at events across the country. It’s not always easy but hard work always pays off in the end
.
I must say we did have a good laugh and we now have some great new friends, what can be better than that 😁
