What is the Impact Fellowship?
The Impact Fellowship is our flagship leadership incubator designed for high-achieving women of colour who are ready to transition from professional success to institutional influence.
While many programmes offer networking, the Impact Fellowship offers a structured journey toward Legacy. By completing this six-month intensive, you earn the prestigious FDOC suffix, a formal recognition that you have mastered the Connect, Learn, Grow framework and are committed to the collective advancement of our community.

The Journey to FDOC
The fellowship is structured around our three core pillars, ensuring your development is holistic and impactful.
Connect: The Executive Circle
Fellows are granted exclusive access to a high-level network of mentors, industry titans, and previous FDOC cohorts. You will move beyond peer-to-peer networking into strategic alliances that open doors at the board and policy levels.
Learn: The legacy curriculum
Through the Learn Hub, fellows undergo advanced training in:
- Strategic Governance: Preparing for non-executive director and board roles.
- Ethical Leadership: Navigating power dynamics while maintaining cultural integrity.
- Philanthropy and Social Capital: Learning how to fund and sustain large-scale impact.
Grow: The legacy project
The cornerstone of the fellowship. Every candidate designs and launches a Legacy Project. A tangible initiative that solves a specific challenge for women of colour in their sector. This project is showcased globally at the International Womenโs Festival.

The FDOC Distinction
Earning your Fellowship means more than just a certificate. It grants you:
- The Suffix: The right to use FDOC behind your name in all professional correspondence.
- Global Visibility: A featured profile in the Divas of Colour annual report and partner media outlets.
- Speaking Platform: An invitation to present your Legacy Project on the main stage at our annual festival.
- Lifetime Membership: Permanent inclusion in the Senior Fellows network for continued mentorship and growth.
