The brand works with artisans from west and east Africa , Jamaica and the far east, to create stunning statement pieces. All Nzingha designs are handmade from natural materials.
The core materials used are;
Rosewood – from the fast growing tree
Exotic seashells – found on the beaches NOT DIVED FOR
Coconut shells – when finished with
Resin – sap from the pine tree , THESE TREES ARE NOT CUT DOWN
Cow bone – collected from the slaughter houses
Buffalo horn – collected from the slaughter houses
NO ANIMAL IS KILLED FOR THEIR HORNS OR BONES
